This is weird. I called and the little girls said...
A) No copy of DD214
B) Did not sign back of Photos
C) Did not fill out back of fingerprint card.

I said not hardly sweetheart. Not true. I have copies of everything I sent in the packet. I am looking at them before I called you as I could not believe anything was incomplete. She said she did not have it in front of her she was going by what was in the computer and I am to wait until I get the packet in the mail. I ask how long is that. She said a month.
a) Big time bull. I put a copy of my DD214 in the packet. It was inventoried and photo copied. It was in the packet. The backs of my photos are signed on the photocopies...so what in the heck is she talking about. The back of the fingerprint cards are complete and correctly filled out and signed. I have photo copies of the entire package front and back of everything.

So this is some horsepuckey for sure. "rlol"
I'll play the game and once again give thanks for the State of Utah and their Non -Res CHL program.
But this is flat ridiculous.

If they only received your application on July 22nd, maybe they haven't had time to enter everything into the computer yet? It takes most peoples apps nearly a month before it even goes to "Processing" status. Seems like you may be calling a bit prematurely. What does your online status say?

Ruh roh! What is this filling out the back of the fingerprint card??? The back of my DPS fingerprint card is blank, while the FBI f.p. card has nothing but instructions on it. Am I missing something here, and have ANOTHER thing to worry about? Am I missing something here?

Did you Send the CORRECT dd-214?

I have 2 different 214's. One says "Condition of discharge: Honorable" On the bottom, the other is lacking any information on the discharge type.

I sent them the latter one first.. they need the one that says 'Honorable'...
I also included my AF-256 for posterity when I mailed em the paperwork. Just so they wouldn't miss it.

Just a possibility.

Ahh, See, mine looked like this:

This is a fake 214, not real, and definately not mine.

I got one with the 'Special Additional Information' box at the bottom, and one without. I sent them the one without first.

Well I got the letter today. I had sent in 4 photos ( they require two) and they sent one photo back that didn't have my signature on it....Duh....yes I sent you two signed like the State ask and two were not signed nor required.......
The "funny thing here is...when I spoke with the lil girl she said DD214N was missing and fingerprint cards were not properly filled out also.....Got the letter and now all they said was missing or incomplete was this one photo signature....

I dunno. But I know what happens when you send BOTH signed and two that are not signed now dont I?:)
Last time. I sent in 4 because that is what the instructor gave all of us in class. We signed two and sent all 4 in.

Strange, we only needed to send in two. The class only took two and we signed them and sent them. What are the other two for ? If they are 'just in case' then I can understand them needing to be signed if either of the first two are rejected....and it seems that 'poor picture quality' is the excuse du jour for Austin.

I called about mine today and they told me to check again in two weeks as the dreaded BG check isn't done yet. :banghead:

Hello there all July applicants! I have been reading here unregistered for a while now, finally figured I would join in on the fun of waiting with others in the same group. All I can say is that I really hope I don't get any of those bull "you didn't sign the back of your photo" excuses. If there's any reason for me to encounter any issues its because I had about 7 different addresses from Denton, Tarrant, Taylor, Dallas, and Collin counties. I guess the only good part of waiting is that I can save up my cash for a Kimber Ultra Carry II to replace my Ruger SR9.

Its a pleasure waiting with y'all. If anyone is near Plano and wants to plan a celebratory Wally Walk together after the wait is over let me know.
