mostly its the county you live and work in .
as you may know the gulf coast counties seem to have the longest wait time.
Harris seems to be the worst .

the class location itself should not matter .

What if the county I "work in" is out of state? Does anyone have any insight as to wether it will take longer if you listed an out of state work address?

I'm also interested in seeing this answer as I go to college and work out of state...I really hope that doesn't make it take any longer than the already ridiculous wait times that are prevalent.

So do they also background check you for your employers address? I work from a home office in San Antonio. My district office is in Richardson so I put that down as my employers address. That's my business address for all administrative purposes. So despite the fact that I have never seen the building or ever been in that county, I may have to wait for a background check from there?

Oh that's just plumb silly! No call for that. Time to get on the phone(note: phone...not letter or email) with your state congressman and senator. Something is wrong....very wrong.
