Well, I got a phone call yesterday from DPS after I contacted my State Senator's (John Carona) office again. They told me they dropped the plastic in the mail yesterday! Naturally, I rushed to the computer to see what my online status said....Processing Application...ugh

I logged on again this morning, "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"

FINALLY!!!

74nova and I were on exactly the same timeline...sent in the same time and approved the same time...

Now to wait on the mail...
Applied Online 02/03/2009
Took CHL Course 02/07/2009
Packet & PIN Arrived 02/17/2009
Mailed Packet (Certified) 02/18/2009
Packet Received by DPS 02/19/2009
Online Status Changed to Processing Application 03/13/2009
Application Complete 05/28/2009
Plastic in Hand 06/03/2009 (104 days)

Harris County and now on day 115 I have my license!!!! Wally Walk will be happening today :-)

Well for Harris county I sent my application in on the 2/21/09, check cashed 2/27/09. This is still "processing." Now the good news.
Idaho dropped off application April 4/3/2009, plastic in hand 5/22/2009. Not so worried about my Texas license now it can get here when it gets here. :biggrinjester:

It's here! Really here! Got home and it was in the mail, grabbed the wife and kid and off to Wally World for a little walk.
01/31/09 CHL class completed
02/14/09 Packet mailed via certified mail
02/18/09 Packet recvd at DPS and conf via certified mail (email option)
04/17/09 recieved pin (finally!!!)
05/28/09 application complete
xx/xx/09 plastic in hand
xx/xx/09 wally walk
