Applications Rapidly Increasing??

I've noticed that all of the CHL classes at the two ranges where I shoot seem really full. Out of curiousity, I asked both of the rangemasters about it. One of them gives two classes a month, and is basically full up (with a few openings) through May and June. The other has been trying to ramp up and do a class every week, since demand is so high. Both agreed they could do a weekly class and keep it pretty much full. (And there are several more of these operations in town.)

So if your license is still pending, be glad you're at least in the queue. Once these big classes start to submit their paperwork, it's going to crunch the system. If you're already "Application Processing", than at leastr you're ahead of the power curve.

Hate to say it Chuck, but you're a little behind.

Classes have been full since Nov/Dec.

Everyone (including myself) who didn't get one before the last election is behind the power curve.

about 5 or 6 years ago my instructor was holding classes in her kitchen with about 10 students. when i took my class there were 60+ students . now she holds her classes at the VFW hall. as a side note, there is a bar attached to the hall and one of the student was caught sitting in there having a couple of drinks. needless to say, he was kicked out of the class .
