How much longer??

#1

Post by yoyoceramic »

Ok so... I am wondering what everyone's take is on this:

I mailed my application on January 30th. I already had the PIN since I registered and paid online.

I emailed DPS once, on March 15th to make sure they got my application because at that point in time, I was still receiving the "No application/licesnse active" message when I would check on my status. They emailed me back telling me "your application is here and is processing"

So, I check the status today, and FINALLY it has chanced to "Processing".

Holy Crap?! 75 days just to get to the "Processing Message"?

How much longer am I to wait?

yoyo - - - - - - - - don't ask. the answers will only upset you. I'm at 120 and still holding, and still writing and calling state reps. You'll hear a herd of similar stories here.

All we can do is wish each other good luck and wait it out. You might want to read some of the posts on wait times, and think about contacting your state rep or senator.

keep the faith!

CHL's in Texas are a myth. Everyone knows someone who's friend has one, but no one has ever actually seen one in real life. Sorry for the bad news.
Class taken 12/6
Packet Sent 12/30
Processing Application: 2/6
Delay-- Instructor number didn't match with who the TR100 was assigned to.
4/20- Told by DPS that my 60 days restarted 3/21

I saw one once. It was glorious. Of course, it could have been a replica, kind of like the jack-a-lope hanging in my fatherinlaws office. No one will ever know.
