With all due respect not sure why anyone would keep calling them if its just now been 60 days... :headscratch

I know I totally thought I too would get it right before x-mas time. I am so happy to have it for all the x-mas shopping we'll be out doing. Thanks DPS santa for getting mine to me!

By the way I didn't annoy them by calling repeatedly over and over. I called 3 times in 3 weeks, again because I never got a call back.

I called the supervisor back today as he told me to. I advised him that the individual processing my license did in fact call me this morning and told me that she issued the license and it was being mailed. He said hold on a minute... He came back on the line and said he pulled my license out of the outgoing mail stack and said he was going to send it overnight so I will receive it tomorrow morning! I told him that was very nice of him, and thanked him. :woohoo

09/18/2008 - Applied Online
09/29/2008 - Received Packet in the mail
10/04/2008 - Class taken
10/06/2008 - Packet Overnighted to DPS
10/07/2008 - Packet received by DPS (Per shipping signature)
10/15/2008 - Processing Application
10/23/2008 - Entered into system on this date according to DPS and was told that everything required was received. (I called to check status 11/12/2008 just to make sure it wasn't lost or something)
12/02/2008 - Processing Application
12/09/2008 - License issued and being overnighted to me
Looks like 65 days from the date I know they received it.
looks like a good time line.
guess i'll call and see where the status of my plastic is.

:woohoo I'm outta here!!! 52 days from start to finish!!! Just waiting on the pony express! Then a Wally Walk!

For those interested, two counties Hays and Angelina.
