Stopped In To Say Hello
I took my Texas CHL class on July 12, 2008. The second week in August I got a letter from Texas DPS saying that my application is being processed. So I'm a bona fide member of the waiting room.

Welcome. I hope the wait isn't too long. It will be well worth the wait.

I don't think the wait is going to be necessarily long any more. Just saw one who got his in 77days. With all of the new personnel hired by the DPS, the new applicants may start seeing a difference in the return time for their licenses. Let's hope so anyway. I am hoping to get my license tomorrow if I am lucky-was mailed yesterday. With my luck it will probably get lost in the mail! I submitted my application on April 17th-now that's a long wait.

I'm spending the time looking at holsters. I've settle on a Milt Sparks VMII. I wear it at home so that I can get used to it. Once I fell asleep on the couch while wearing my holster. It didn't wake me up.
