I would have posted sooner, its just that real life often gets in the way..
Fri Jun 20 i get a voice mail from a friend of mine stating that he had received a package from the DPS CHL licensing bureau, and wondered if i had as well
(we took the class together) so i call home to see if anything like that arrived for me....the answer was yes! OK i start doing the and the then i call my friend to give him my good news..
He then tells me that his prints were rejected and did NOT have his plastic
of course, i didn't ask what KIND of package i received if was a standard #10 envelope or a manilla. at this point i get a little scared that i might be stuck as well.
so i call back and.......... its the #10
only 103 days later...
only problem is when i look at the license a typo on my street address ( a "c" in place of an "l") that i previously had emailed them about when i received my PIN letter.
I email them the next day and i received a response on Mon stating i will be getting a corrected on in the mail
I've yet to wally walk but i have carried since, I'll be posting thoughts on my first day as a CHLer on the new to CHL page
thats it, I'm outta here, i will stop back by occasionally but i thought someone else could use my chair

Re: Ready to leave the room !!
Congratulations. I've been doing alot of readding and it looks like the majority of the people are getting their plastic between 95 - 105 days. There are a few that get theirs in 60-70 days and a few that get theirs in the 120+ days, but overall it looks like it is taking just slightly over 3 months to get it.
Will be looking forward to your first carry experience.
