Congrats! Take pictures

Seems that people two weeks behind my timeline are getting theirs approved, what's holding up mine? :mad5 I haven't even had a speeding ticket in the last 5 years, let alone anything else that would slow my application down.

Your already ahead of me, in that you have your PIN, and I sent my stuff in a week before you. Maybe this is all about which employee at the state gets our packets. I guess some take more smoke breaks than others. Yours seems to have gotten into the hands of someone who works. Mine seems to have gotten into the hands of a scoffer.

It doesn't look good for me.

I sent DPS an email asking for my PIN. They responded already (at least that was quick).

Status: "Packet mailed to applicant" :totap:

I took the class on Feb 16th
After applying online and receiving the packet in the mail, they signed for the packet on March 6th.
66 days later and the status says "Packet mailed to applicant"? Maybe I'll get my license by Christmas. :cryin
Ben Franklin once stated that beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. I tend to agree with him.

Good news in the mail today. Convenient that the license came in on a Saturday... lots of errands to run, including Wally-World. Off I go!

It's almost like being in a restaurant with lousy service...you're waiting patiently, but you begin to see other people that ordered after you get their food before you do...you're certain that yours will be the next one out, but the wait is agony.

Took class Feb 9
Mailed Feb 11
Rec'd by DPS Feb 14
Online status: "Processing application"

My friend that I took the class with checked his status on Friday - "certificate active"
So it shouldn't be much longer.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch.... :totap:

I'm still waiting...from how things are going I'm expecting mine around the first week of June, which would be longer than 60 days.

It could be worse. They could be telling you they haven't entered you in the system yet.... :totap: . It makes me wonder if they have lost my stuff under the Krispy Kreme boxes.

Day 81... I have been reading these forums for a couple of months now waiting to join until I received my licensee. But now I feel I must post here to maintain my sanity. Checking the website 5 times a day to only see processing application can drive one mad. I guess I will pull up a chair and join the rest of you. :patriot:

Feb 22 – Application received by DPS.
Mar 13 – Status changed to Processing Application.
