I have been looking at this forum for a couple of weeks, so thought I would post info below. just FYI

Took class 1-21-08
Sent packet to DPS 1-22-08
Letter with PIN 2-22-08
Aprox week later checked staus: Processing Application
Changed to certificate issued 3-28-08
Received License 3-31-08

Took "Wally walk today" and ate lunch at Taco Cabana
Carried Kahr CW40 using IWB and T shirt not tucked in
Felt comfortable

Congrats Archery, my packet was received two days after yours by DPS, let's see how long it takes for mine to change from processing application to license active. Where did you take your CHL class?

Congrat, Archery. Mailed my packet 3 weeks before you and mines still processing. Hopefully, mine comes soon and I'll carry my Kahr CW9 to the Wally World.

Before God I swear this creed: my pistol and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.

I thought Taco C's were all posted? Or I guess it's up to the franchise?

The only TC I've been to lately is the one next to WalMart on the way to Big Town. Their 30.06 sign is an 8 1/2 x 11 printout, not legal size.

But you did, in fact, understand the intent of the sign?
