Is it possible things are moving faster in Austin? Check cleared Feb 8. license arrived today. I sure hope so for everybody waiting.

That's crazy. My check cleared Feb. 7 and I called them on Tuesday (Mar 4) and they told me my application had not been entered into the system yet!! :banghead:

Well we shall see. I did the online thing and did the application and paid 3/5/8 still waiting for return package. In the meen time I have completted the CHL training and have my certificate, now I have to wait for the state to send me their package and I can send everthing back. Certified, next day, signature request. Whew.

Do not do signature required, instead do delivery confirmation. If it requires a signature it could delay a day or two from what I understand about the process in Austin. If you utilize delivery confirmation it will serve you needs in so far as allowing you to confirm reciept.

I sent my packet certified mail with return receipt, didn't seem to delay their accepting of the packet any (mailed 2/6 confirmed recipt 2/8)
