Instructor Application Submitted
I have not checked since Friday, but when I checked again this evening, I found this:
Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
When those fail, aim for center mass.

I see you're a NRA pistol instructor. Where in Houston can I get that?

Looks like you are pending the instructor training. That takes as long as it takes until the next instructor class is scheduled.Vol Texan wrote:I have not checked since Friday, but when I checked again this evening, I found this:Hopefully, since I have already had my license for several years now, this won't take too long.

Yeah you probably have a 6 month wait until a class opens up for you.

Re: Instructor Application Submitted
At least. I spoke personally to the Director of the DPS RSD at a conference I attended April 1st. There was only one more class scheduled for 2017 and that was coming in May. There will be no more Instructor classes until after the first of the year. I'm in the same boat. I got everything done in February. These classes only hold 100 students. They are backed up about 3 classes right now. Good luck bud.locke_n_load wrote:Yeah you probably have a 6 month wait until a class opens up for you.
