About to give up

I had my CHL in Iowa from 2011-2013 when I moved to Houston, Decided to get my Texas LTC this year, I took the class and submitted all my info and paperwork July 16th and the wait began.... My first buddy I took the class with got his about a week later along with his girl friend getting hers a day later, our next buddy got his about a week after that, so all 3 of my friends that I took the class with had received there LTCs before the end of July. I waited and waited and waited then on November 19th I received a letter asking about a past arrest I got when I was 18, I sent the paper in and was just about to give up and stop checking the status site anymore. Today my dad called and asked if I ever found anything out about it and I told him I was giving up, I figured for some reason they had denied me, while on the phone with my dad I pulled up my work phone typed in my DL# and birth date and sure enough PRINT PENDING!!!!!!!! I have no clue why it took almost half a year but at least the wait is over!!!

And I thought the 22 days it's taken so far to get to the background check for my application was a struggle.
