Confirmation email was sent 4/25.
Status change was 5/24, then needed an address change, submitted that 5/24, and checked this morning, and my status changed again. 37 total days for me. Just waiting on the mailman!

Anyone have thoughts on what I should do or what is going on? I tried calling but it just says they have too many applications and automatically hangs up and I tried emailing and they just send back a generic pre-written email. I noticed some people on have submitted their stuff in April and already have their LTC in hand. So shouldnt mine have been completed too?

I am attending the CHL class this saturday (06/04/16). I have been waiting for some kind of recognition on the texas chl webiste where I did my application but nothing seems to happen. So I called and they said everything seemed good and they were only waiting on my chl class. Has this happened to anyone else before?

just wanted to make sure everything went smoothly with my background check since it was $140 and incase by some weird circumstance a contributing to a minor that I was never convicted of got in the way. Which it hasn't since I called and they stated everything was good to go. However, I just want to clear this up and see if a status update or anything shows up on the chl website once you submit your class, because nothing has changed on it for me as of right now and it has been since 04/28/16.

Anyone that has any knowledge about this, I would love to hear what you have to say.

From all I've gathered, you will see no status change until your LTC is mailed. However, you should receive an email staying all your docs were received once you submit them. Good luck!

That seems to be the pattern I've noticed. Most people are seeing their plastic the next day the mail is delivered.

As far as I am aware, the change in status on the website is only once your application is approved. (because the website then allows you to request a replacement license or change your address..)

You application will not be approved until you have completed all the requirements, one of which is completing the course and submitting the form showing completion.

From the looks of other people's wait times, I don't think they even begin looking at your application until after everything is submitted.

Received my plastic in hand saturday.
That put the total wait at 40 days with an address change. Not too bad!
