Good News

#1

Post by Sig Texas »

I completed everything and mailed documents on Jan. 20th. I have been unable to reach a person by phone or see a status update online (no change online), until today.
I started calling at 5:00PM, got "on-hold' music at 5:15. At 5:30 a lady answered and said my application had been approved and the LTC had gone to the printer. She said I should have it in the mail in 7-10 days.
Maybe this is good news for everyone that filed in January. I hope to be out of the waiting room in a couple of weeks.

Wonderful news...so happy for you...

Did your status change online?

Now if they'd finish up some of us December applicants that would be fantastic.

This is the second person in the last few days with mid to late January submissions that have been told they are approved. I am the first of January and I was told yesterday, they aren't even processing January's yet. I guess it is luck of the draw. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Yea Zimmer I'm with you, no rhyme, no reason, no sense, it again goes to show their system is a nonexistent system.
No method to their madness, hit & miss, no explanation.
But! Good News, you have to be next. It can't just keep on & on.
Hang in, yours is coming gun friend.

I've been told the people who answer the phones are not the people processing, so none of the ones we have become frustrated talking to are at fault.

That's awesome. I actually called in on Monday and they told me my BG check had come back and I was in the "final approval phase" and that I should be approved within 72 hours (which would have been today). My stuff was uploaded on 1/15/16 (received confirmation a few days later). Looks like January is starting to roll out. :woohoo

Did your website change? Congrats again.

I thought i was the only december applicant still waiting for the plastic...looks like i was wrong. I called yesterday and talked to a lady that looked up my info. "We have your application, all the supporting papers are attached, proof of class also here, everything looks good...well i have to be honest,i have no idea why is that you do not have your license yet. They barely started the process. I wish i could tell you something else but at this time all i can say is be patient and give them some more time." :))) i was speechless, over 2 months passed since i recieved confirmation of supporting documents have been recieved and they barely starting my app? Still speechless
