I went for fingerprinting today, and submitted my CHL-100. Now the waiting. Im not in a huge rush (for now) as I'm new to owning firearms, and want to get comfortable concealing around the house.
Side note: something funny happened at the fingerprinting appointment. While sitting in a tiny space in awkward silence with 5 or 6 other people, this creepy man scooted uncomfortably close to me, pointed to my shirt and said "oh, you work for JoAnn Fabrics ::insert creepy grin::. Are you being fingerprinted for JoAnn Fabrics?? ::insert hot garbage breath::"
I responded that I was being fingerprinted to obtain my LTC.
He responded with a quick 'oh' and moved himself and his seat back where it came from

Missed this yesterday, welcome to the forum, and keep us updated on your wait for your plastic. Also any more funny stories about encounters with the public. It's funny how the thought of a woman with a gun will keep away a lot of creepy guys.
Good luck and take time to introduce yourself, look around the forum at older posts and feel free to ask questions, and share any insights you have.
Stay safe.
