Supporting Doc Confirmation?

#1

Post by cmac »

12/22 Electronic submittal of Application and Payment. Supporting docs sent electronically.
12/23 Email confirmation of application with ID #
1/6 Fingerprints sent in

as of 1/20, I have not received and email stating that supporting docs have been received.. Should I have received this by now? I assume that is what everyone is talking about when they say received confirmation.. By most timelines, it appears it happens rather quickly if I am understanding...

If you downloaded your doc's when you sent them you should have received the email confirmation by now, I would think. I sent mine on a late Thursday afternoon & on Monday I received the email confirmation. It's already been a week, I would call & or resend them again. I have read many post & they almost seem like they got theirs too in couple days at most.

I actually ran into a similar issue.

12/4/15 - Applied online (no email confirmation)
12/8/15 - Fingerprints
1/14/16 - CHL class (hey, I was busy over the holidays)
1/14/16 - Electronically uploaded my CHL and DD-214 (I'm a veteran).

I never got a confirmation email for either my initial application or when I uploaded the final docs. From all my reading on here, I assumed I'd hear something within a day or so, and when I didn't..... I called them this morning to make sure that everything was in and submitted. The woman I spoke to said I was all set and the application was in process. :thumbs2:

She said for some reason, emails don't always go out. I'd call though to make sure you are all set and they received everything.

Just got my confirmation via email, which took 5 days (including the MLK holiday). Most people seem to have gotten theirs win 1-2 days. I'm hoping that's not a bad sign, and they are just still digging out from the Christmas rush.

At least I know the clock has officially started, anticipating my "wally walk" in early to mid-March. :thewave

I just got my confirmation email too! It said up to 6 weeks for processing, but we'll see.

Spoke with them last week. They are just getting to the last week of December's applications. Lucky me, I got to resubmit my paperwork, so instead of late December, I am now in the mid January que.

Am I understanding you correctly? You said you talked to them last week & they said " they're just now starting to do the apps from the last week in December"? Because I talked to them last Monday & they said they were just starting the apps from the 1st week of December, not the last week..

I would guess you get different answers from different people. I told them I sent my app in on 12/23. He replied with "ok, we are just getting to that week now".
