I have an old arrest from 1999 in Las Vegas in which no charges were filed. I disclosed this on the CHL application - even provided the DA case number.
I contacted the Clark County DA office to get ahead of a request from DPS wanting the certified disposition. Clark County stated they do NOT provide certified dispositions and that I should just provide DPS with the letter I received in 1999 stating that no charges were filed. They also said DPS could call and confirm that information.
Getting to the point, will this prevent me from getting my CHL? Anyone have an experience like this?
Am I going to have a hard time?
