First post and playing the waiting game

Abbreviated timeline...

9/23: received confirmation email from DPS saying all documents received.

10/23: called into DPS and was told, "everything is on schedule" lol.

10/29: website has not been updated and impatiently waiting :waiting:

"Everything is on schedule" is all they would say? Did they give any other details i.e. waiting on the background check on anything?

Yeah that's all they would say. I tried to probe for more info by saying, "So, as far as you can tell you have all the necessary documents and are just waiting for everything to be processed?" And the guy just said yes. He was so helpful lol.

For sure. I'll call again today and try to atleast get an answer as to whether or not it has atleast gone through the background check.

Getting somewhere! Just got off the phone and the guy was more helpful and friendly. He said that the background check is finished and it has been sent off for printing. He estimated that I should get it in the mail around the middle of next week.

Nice! Congrats. I mailed my paperwork 2 weeks ago tomorrow, so I got a little more waiting to do.

The DPS website updated for me today! Hoping for the license to show up in next couple of days :fire

Was so excited I forgot to post that I received my chl in the mail 2 days after website updating!!

Nice! I called yesterday and was told that it was out for printing, but no website change yet.
