Tablet: Upside Down Screen

I've noticed lately that some apps recently downloaded are determined to load and display upside down vertically when the tablet is held vertically the same way as all other apps that are just fine. It's a matter of convenience for me as I prefer my finger tip controls on my right, and it's a pain when using the tablet corded to have to flip it over when opening these apps. I can find nothing on this Samsung Android device to correct this. In all but a few apps, vertical is verticel and I can keep controls on the right. But on a few I can only get a right side up vertical screen if the finger tip controls are on the left. Anyone know why this is, and a way to correct it?

Likely the way the app was coded causing this.. it's been an ongoing issue for some time. It's possible that there may be a setting in the actual app, but if not there are several apps in the Play store that can allow you to set individual orientation for each app you use that will over-ride the app itself to fit your preference.

I agree with philbo. The app isncoded that way. The apps Dev will have to fix it.

more than likely the app isn't optimized for OPs screen resolution so the app doesn't know which orientation to use. But yeah i like your explination better
