I am using OpenSUSE, Arch Linux and Ubuntu / Kubuntu. A dusty windows box is sitting in a corner in case I have to run some older programs I used for business in the past.

I run linux at home sometimes but not as much as when I had a Solaris box at work.

I've never used it, but I have a netbook I use for writing and I'm thinking about putting Mint on it.

Not since college, no (I used it to turn an old PC into an over-engineered NAS device because my desktop computer was out of drive bays). But I do run Mac OS X which is a certified Unix on all* my computers, is that close enough?

*I've got an old PowerComputing clone that might still be running Mac OS 9.x (if it even still powers on).

Yes. I use Linux on my only home PC. Currently Ubuntu XFCE for it's speed and compatibility with the hardware.

My 6-yo has only griped once because and online game required a windows plugin.

Typically Redhat-flavored servers. I admin all the way from Redhat 7.3 (Valhalla, yes we still have some chugging along) to RHEL 6.4.

I used to harden RH Linux for the DoD. In the early 90's there was a RH version for SPARC stations but that was a mess to start with.

I have not had MAC hands on since the olde cube MAC's but I know they use Linux as an OS loader. Not sure if it is used as a boot loader only or if it functions as a bridge between hardware and MAC OS.

Everybody with an Android based smart phone is a Linux user.

I used to run it on my desktops, but the lack of decent DAW software pushed me back over to Windows. Now I just have one linux box I use for XBMC and as an ssh server to proxy from work/chat on IRC/etc.

Strictly speaking, yeah, but Google's changed it so much that I'm not sure it still qualifies.

It is still a Linux kernel :-) Google takes care for Android and the Linux Kernel is built and compiled by the hardware manufacturer of the phones.

I'm currently migrating my home network from Ubuntu to Centos - mainly to upgrade to enterprise class hardware.
At work, I own 20 or so Linux systems.
I don't consider myself an expert, but I've been using Linux for 10 years or more.

I still have my 1st Linux edition at home. Two floppy disks and a 42 page printed manual. While attending a SCO UNIX training class the teacher sold it as an alternative to SCO for 5 bucks. I had a 386 back then and it was twice as fast as DOS, no applications though. But with vi and LPR I could print invoices and type letters :-( Looking at Ubuntu or OpenSUSE these days proofed the Open Source concept for sure.
