Leading zeros on CHL application PDF

I'm having trouble getting some leading zeros in a field to show up on my chl application. I have a number I have to put in that starts with zeros, and the pdf drops them. Does this even matter? Are the values still there, just hidden? Has anyone else had this problem?

Leading zeros can and are dropped and this is not a problem.
