My old trusty digital scale finally cratered and what I've found so far can't weight three grains of powder. Others can't weigh in tenths of grains.
Everything's either cheap from China or cost as much as another Glock. Need ideas please.

+1 for the RCBS Range Master 750, I have been using it for the last couple of years and it works great.

^ Which electronic scale were you using?
- I'd call the manuf. first to see if they can walk you through a "reset"

Personally, I am old school and prefer a quality balance beam scale.
Too many electronic scales have problems with drifting zero and inconsistencies.
Both RCBS or Redding make a good product. Personally, I prefer the Redding because the pointer end is calibrated in 10ths.
Here is the start of an
article from Accurate Shooter:
Improved View for Balance-Beam Scales
Even in today’s digital age, many reloaders prefer the simplicity and reliabilty of a balance scale for weighing powder charges. In this Bulletin, we reported that our own PACT digital scale suffers from fluctuating read-outs. The weight reading drifted up to 0.3 grains in less than an hour. (PACT Story). LTRDavid has come up with a clever upgrade to an O’Haus-type scale that makes the weighing process easier for those of us with old eyeballs. He simply mounts a magnifying glass in front of the balance marker, using two clamps.
This view of the Redding scale shows what I mean about the pointer end being graduated:

When dialling in my powder measure on my progressive presses I use a digital scale (Lyman LE-1000). When loading on my single stage press I prefer the precision of my RCBS 505 beam balance scale. My progressive presses make plinking/practice ammo while my single stage rig makes hunting/target ammo. I can have three different 5.4gr charges that measure the same on the digital scale +/-0.1gr accuracy. The beam scale will show the difference between those charges.

I love my rcbs 10-10 scale.
It has never let me down yet.
Kinda more than the others, but to me, it's worth a few extra $'s.....
