I've been using CCI Small Rifle primers for about a year now to load S&W .40.
For those of you living closeish to Buda (to avoid hazmat and shipping fees) these primers on on sale for $19.99/k.
Spoke with a gentleman at the store yesterday and they had just received approximately 150k in the store that morning - so I promptly drove down and relieved them of 5k as well as a few other supplies.

That's a decent price for CCI400 primers.
I just stocked up on Wolf SR for 15.00/k at powder valley though. Cost me a whopping $8.50 for hazmat and freight (and no sales tax) on 7,000 primers on a group buy.
I like the CCI primers, the Wolf seem to function great as well.

I've found that the CCI #400 primer cup is too thin and soft for any of the .223 loads I run. Even relatively mid-power loads flattened the primers, so I've switched over to #41 instead. That's a good price, though.
