I had so much conflicting reload data that i only reloaded 30 9mm rounds. I used Berrys 115g plated Bullets and was told to use data for lead when loading them but some sheets had data for plated and it was closer to the FMJ. I tried to avg. it and went with 3.9g.. I fed 10 rounds through each gun i wanted to fire them in by hand and they fed and ejected fine.
Well yesterday i got to the range and fired all three guns the first two had no problems but the third one would not eject one round . The problem gun was my SR9c it's the newest with no more than 120 rounds ( without a failure ).
I looked over the brass and it looked good primers looked just like the factory rounds i fired ( with no problem after reloads failed ). I am thinking the loads were light and the Ruger was a little stiff being newer. The KT P-11 cycled them like nothing and it has been fussy braking in.
Now the question is what load to use now? I'm thinking 4.2 or 4.3 shouldn't be too much of a jump.
Anyone loading berrys 115g 9mm ?
What powder and how much are you using?
I'm using Accurate No2 and may try using the chart that has your powder listed with the closest load to what you're using.
Is there a preferred powder for 115g 9mm load?

It would be helpful if you indicated which powder you're using.
**UPDATE** don't mind me. Apparently my reading comprehension goes down after a Saturday at work
I'm working on a set of loads with Power Pistol myself. Lots of folks like it for the higher-pressure loads like 9mm and .40.
Some people also run Bullseye in 9mm, though I haven't gotten around to trying it yet.
I have worked out a load using Blue Dot, but now that I've gone through it, I don't recommend it as an early powder to try in 9mm. Blue Dot, due to its size, doesn't meter well, and you'll spend forever adjusting each and every load to make sure they're consistent. But, if you want to try it out eventually, I recommend staying on the low end to start. Most data I've read run the loads WAY too hot. This is one of the instances where the conservative numbers in the Hornady manual are actually a good guide.

Re: Fired first 30 reloads!!??
I'm currently loading and shooting in IDPA the following load in 9mm:
Berry's plated 115gr round nose over 4.7 gr of bullseye. Now, that's the max load with bullseye for that bullet according to the two manuals that I have. In my M&P, it feels just like WWB 115gr round nose target rounds. My wife said the same thing about them in her USP.

For what it's worth, I've used 4.7g of Bullseye behind every kind of 115g plated bullet on the market, (slight exaggeration) for years and never had a problem. I'm talking many thousand. It more than meets the power factor in IDPA.
