Lee Liquid Alox - Method for Avoiding Sticky Press Dies?

I'm sinking deeper and deeper in self-sufficiency (cast bullets just can't be found around here these days) and just ordered a Lee production pot, six cavity TL mold, and a few other goodies, including Lee Liquid Alox to "tumble lube" my cast bullets. However, after browsing the internet superhighway on my Firestone tire of a PC some more, I'm seeing where lots of folks complain the the LLA remains sticky even after a week of dry time and results in frequent die cleaning having to be done.

Anybody else have tips or experience with TL molds and bullets lubed with Lee Liquid Alox and running them through their press? I have a Dillon Square Deal B, so at least I think I can pull the die out and put it back without a bunch of readjustment every time I clean it.

I'm almost wishing I'd gone with a standard lube groove mold and a Lube/Sizer instead of 'cheaping out'. But going back now really involves buying a standard groove mold along with a lube/sizer and money wasted on the original mold. The wife would not be pleased.

I have used the liquid Alox for years. I haven't had the gumming up problem. But then I run all my cast bullets through a sizer prior to seating them. I think that gives me a more uniforn and accurate bullet. I use the Lee sizer. I have been doing .38s and .45s. While it is one more step, the wife may not give you a hard time if you get a cheap Lee stand and the sizer dies. The thing I don't like about the liquid Alox is that I think it smokes a lot.

Thanks! Of course with the new cigarette tax I don't really want anything around the house that smokes a lot.

I guess I'll put a sizer on my wish list, but the whole reason I went with Alox and the micro band mold was to avoid that extra expense and step.
