That is about what I was figuring on price per round...wanted to make sure I was in the ballpark. Also, I cannot seem to find 380 auto at a decent price...it would be nice to be able to do them myself and not worry as you pointed out in your 2nd point.
Thanks.

Re: NEW TO RELOADING
Loading .380 is incredibly cost-effective. My .380 range loads come out to $5.84/box using recovered brass and Berry's plated bullets. That's 1/3 to 1/4 the price of cheap factory loads, and my loads shoot MUCH more accurately out of my LCP than factory rounds.Texas Size 11 wrote:That is about what I was figuring on price per round...wanted to make sure I was in the ballpark. Perhaps a bit. Maybe it's that we know what kind of work went into making the rounds, so we make our shots count.AndyC wrote:It's probably you - reloaders tend to be much better shots, IMONcongruNt wrote:...my loads shoot MUCH more accurately out of my LCP than factory rounds.
It took me a bit of work to get those loads to group like that, and there was a range in the middle of my workup of 0.2 grains (2.3 and 2.5 grains of Bullseye) that gave me tight groups with the LCP. I went with 2.3 for my standard loads, just to save 8% on powder. The rest more or less shot with the kind of accuracy I would expect with WWB.
