Who wants a reloading room? I DO!

Here is my current set up. Harbor Freight Bench. Rock Chucker on the far left. I still have a lot of clearing to do in the bookshelves but you get the idea of the plan...

That wiggly thing in the foreground is Henley.

This room was ChildV's. I recently managed to convince Mrs. DocV that we needed new flooring in this room and new carpeting in our guest rooms. Oddly enough, I did not have too much of a problem convincing her????

BTW, ChildV recently landed a job as a learning center specialist at Goodwill!
She love's her work and I am one proud papa!

And here is my buddy, (ChildV's dog) Henley.

Henley is (at least part) Malinois. She has all of the Malinois markings except for the face mask and the tears. Smartest and sweetest dog I have ever known.

I had a Malinois once, and completely agree - razor-sharp smart and VERY affectionate, he formed a very close bond with my (then) wife. Unfortunately, mine had pancreatic failure and had to be put down at the tender age of 4. My ex-wife still tears up when she thinks of him, and we put him down almost 10 years ago.

I'm impressed with people that have a dedicated space. I use the 100+ degree garage, after the truck is moved out to the drive, and everything folds for storage.
Finally getting ahead of the game as I seem to be reloading approx. twice as much as I'm shooting. Stocks are building up again.
Reloading 9mm and 38 Special.

Finally got that done and started moving stuff into the new workshop, so I still haven't done any reloading yet. Sure is nice to have a dedicated space and to clear it out of the house.

Turns out my camera can do panoramas.

Do you use the vent hood to cast bullets under? I was wondering if anyone had a setup like that?
I am thinking of doing the same thing if thats what you use it for, or maybe it's just for general ventilation when cleaning guns etc..?

Also, In your panorama shot in top pic, is that wall curved, or is that a function of the panorama shot?
Ya, I was playing around with my Iphone 4s and found I can do panoramas too...But some come out kinda strange looking....

Yeah, the vent is for anything I do in there that would require the removal of fumes, etc. This could be anything from cold bluing through casting bullets, though there really shouldn't be anything from the casting process. I do use it when I'm sifting out tumbled brass from the cleaner and it does help.

The 'bubble' effect is caused by the photo processing method. Nothing I can do about that.

I also use t-track to mount my presses, but it didn't occur to me to install the track front to back. Mine is from side to side. Pretty smart.

I may be cluttered, but I know where everything is..!!!!
Besides...overly clean is a mental problem, but so is cluttered...I guess I don't stand a chance hu???

That is exactly what I was thinking when I found this thread. I do want to begin the process of getting into reloading and have been collecting my brass for a little while now towards that end. Finance wise, though, I think I'm going to have to do this piece by piece and probably in the garage until I have everything together.

Mine has progressed. Have actually used it to load. Need to get out there. Have a camping/shooting trip coming up. Need some .45 Colt and .38 Special.

I moved some equipment out of the machine shop (valve grinding and starter/gen test and rebuild) and moved the loading equipment into heated cooled insulated space. Equipment is all on steel workbenches and the tops are drilled and tapped for bolting presses down and can be removed and a plug screwed in the holes when not needed. Shotgun presses are on boards and clamped to tables as needed. There is a 6' steel workbench with vices opposite the loading area and serves as additional space or for gun work. It is great to have one place to work. The only drawback is that some of my equipment and supplies was stolen while in storage over at the farm. Just found a Herters # 3 press to replace one that I started with in '59.
