Are those the Harbor Freight benches? How do you like them? From what I can tell part of them are composite, other parts are solid wood. Any complaints or things you would like to see different about them?

Natgas I have the same harbor freight bench in my house, only it looks like you got a 650 instead of a 550 like me...
Nice setup

Thanks; I have 2 of the HF benches, both bolted to the wall. I also have 2 650's; I originally started with a single 550 but soon realized the advantages of the 650.
I do enjoy spending time in my room.

I'm happy with them; would like to add one more for a little elbow room. With both bolted to the wall, they are rock solid; and yes, I'd like to see the drawers have a little longer slide!

Anyone have one of the Craftsman ones Sears sells? I checked them out this weekend and the professional one seems pretty nice, but you can't get it with the butcher block top.

Get the HF benches when they go on sale. You will NOT be disappointed. Bring someone with you to lift it though! Those things are HEAVY!

Thanks! I'm out of the country right now. As soon as I get back I'll be adding some quarter round to the back of the desk and framing the whiteboard.GrillKing wrote:Sooperdooper - very nice!

At least your allows you to have your reloading in the house :) my wife made reload in the garage which okay with me, because of the kids
Re: Who wants a reloading room? I DO!
I too have the HF bench and I like it (make sure you buy it on sale). The only problem is that the press can interfere with the draws unless you put it way down at the end. The draws aren't that great anyway. My wife felt sorry for me sweating in the garage and made me move the whole setup indoors. She also does not mind my collection and her favorite gun is Glock 21, favorite rifle is Colt LE6920 and favorite shotgun is Remington Versa Max.

I also applaud his wisdom to design his room starting with the Guinness poster firstGrillKing wrote:Sooperdooper - very nice!

They're amazing shotguns, aren't they? I have a Versa Max Tactical that is now my "go to" semi-auto shotgun. I love it.

I think the question would be who doesn't want a reloading room? Nice digs!
