Deputy's daughter graduating hours after he was shot to death, sheriff says

The deputy constable has been identified as 37-year-old Caleb Rule. Rule was married with four children, including a daughter scheduled to graduate from high school Friday night.

Prayers for Deputy Constable Rule, his family and friends. I feel for the man who shot him as well. Not to diminish the tragedy of this incident but, isn't Troy Nehls the rabidly anti-gun sheriff running for congress who attacked gun owners and legislators? Perhaps he should alter his rhetoric to include prohibiting his deputies from carrying.
