Unintentional display

While walking into the local coffee shop my left foot caught on the lip of the sidewalk, causing all my weight to go to my right leg, which is weak,(right side is weak due to ALS) and actually did a slow fall to the sidewalk. Fortunately there were some helpful people to help me up... what i didn't realize at the time was the person who lifted me by under the arms also caused my shirt to ride up and uncover my IWB... not until i walked into the shop and felt that my shirt was different that i knew my weapon was uncovered.... did a quick shirt adjustment and went and got my coffee.... since there wasn't any yelling and no LEO's came charging in the place i figured everything was okay and went about my business..

The law has changed, there is no more "intentionally failed to conceal" as an offense. It is now "intentionally display in the presence of another person in a public place"

In your case as stated above, it is not an offense as per the law before September 1st 2013 or after that date (current law)

FWIW, I went to a Home Depot one night late. I had been working on a project since dawn and was really tired. I spent 30 minutes or so shopping, checked out and returned to my van. As I walked up I saw my reflection and realized the whole time my weapon had been exposed. No one noticed or no one cared.

I get the reference. Wasn't clean by any measure (mid project) but being in the public safety sector, well my daughter says I carry an air of authority whatever I'm wearing but I know I looked beat. Anyway I am pretty clean cut.

You're absolutely right and I agree, BUT that's not how the vast majority of the sheeple think. That's exactly why the guy in your photo was so successful in finding victims. Most women would call him handsome in addition to being clean cut. He also acted very nice and confident, too.

As a stupid young man, I've actually hitchhiked many places in the cars of single ladies. I would stand at a street corner that had a stop sign. If I got a good vibe from her, then, when her car stops, I would smile and knock on her window. I would tell them this sad story to gain their pity. Then, they'd say something like, "how do I know that you're not a psycho?" I'd reply, "hey, do I LOOK like a psycho? Come on... (piteous look here)" I have NEVER been denied a ride in their car. I chose single ladies to hitchhike from because it would be very difficult for a single lady of small stature preoccupied with driving a car with both hands to kidnap me. If she later picks up a boyfriend or something, I'd get out of the car immediately. I didn't knock on every car that stopped. I chose them carefully and only knocked on their window if I got good vibes from them (I felt that they were trusting and naive seeking a bit of adventure).

Later, when I saved up enough to get my own car, I would pick up girls who weren't hitchiking but obvously needed a ride. The logic was that if she was hitchiking, she could be a psycho looking for a victim, but if she wasn't hitchiking, then she wasn't looking for a victim, so it would be safe to offer her a ride. I'd cruise bus stations, bus stops and airports looking for girls. They would get into my car 50% of the time. It was a great way to meet girls for dates and girlfriends. Often, these were lonely ladies new in town who were looking for new lives, new friends, and a new boyfriend.

Every photo I've seen of Mr. Scott shows a young, nice looking, clean cut, and confidant man.

No, he was just very unlucky, the Costco employee was very anti-gun, and the cops were very trigger happy & corrupt. A very unfortunate mix of events.
