Remember Dec. 7, 1941. Today is Pearl. Never forget. After that the greatest generation gave all in war & at home. Men fought, many died, MANY killed others which was totally against the concious of that entire generation. At home even the children fought by raising Victory Gardens.
To all FB that served in Europe, still here or most gone on, I salute you & than...k you for my freedom. To my Dad & all others who fought, killed & died, in the Pacific, thank you for what is yet left.
We have not forgotten. We just do not have as easy an enemy to define as you did. Good Patriots still do our best.
I pledge alegiance to the Flag of the United States of America & to the Republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisable, w/ Liberty & justice for all.

A thankful nation of a younger generations says "Thank you for your service and sacrifices -- yours and that of your families."
To our British and Canadians mates: today also is the 70th anniversary of the attack at Hong Kong. Your service and sacrifice also is remembered.

...thanks to all out vets for your sacrifices/service...from all wars and actions...this country can never repay what you have done and are doing for us...today, we face different kinds of enemies...without and within...some more devious and traitorous than the in-your-face kind...we need to decide for ourselves what we're willing to give, give up, and risk to keep our country free and strong, while considering what those before us did to do so for us...our grandchildren will benefit from our patriotic service...or not...God help us all and give us courage and wisdom...

Makes me sad looking at the state of our citizens today compared with those of my Grandfather and the WW II generation.
Too much prosperity IMO.
