That unmistakable sound

I know your out there. Maybe you will read this.
There we were sitting in the dark Cinemark Tinseltown theater (not AMC of course
) settling in to watch a movie. It was quiet and there we a few others in the isles down front settling in when I heard the unmistakable sound of a 2.75 lb steel chunk of metal hitting the concrete floor. It wasn't a cell phone or a set of car keys I assure you. It sounded like a fully loaded 1911 or nice metal framed revolver with hard grips hitting the concrete.
My question to you is: As a fellow CHL card carrying Cinemark theater patron, do yo think they would mind it if we played with our laser sights on the big screen before the movie starts?
I know that it may be customary to shuffle those big pieces around to a comfortable spot when settling in for a long movie but please be careful out there and keep those shootin irons properly stowed. It would have been pretty ugly had it gone bang on the concrete.
Funny thing.... a few months back before I was CHL and carrying I probably would have never noticed it.
