My always carry is a S&W 340PD in the K&D Pocket Defender Holster. It has the "wallet" flap. I just removed the "flap" about two weeks ago. I went to spend time with my mom today (something have been ashamed of because of my schedule and health have not spent much time - no excuse). I set in a recliner next to her and had a great visit for about three hours. I left and went to Home Depot to buy some light bulbs for her and when I got in my vehicle leaving Home Depot I noticed my gun was GONE!!!!!! I immediately called my mom and she said it had fallen down between the cushion and frame of the chair. NEVER AGAIN will I stand up without placing my hand in my pocket.

Ouch, that could've been a hard lesson. Glad it wasn't. Being someone that travels a lot, I turn and look at where I was when I get up to walk away as well as check that I have everything that I had when I sat down. It's a habit that has saved me from loosing everything from my cell phone to my wallet to loaded spare mags.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
