Re: Pocket Gun Is Fired - Should Never Happen
I see in the article that the weapon was concealed, but nothing about whether it was a pocket pistol or even carried in a pocket. Do you have other information you could provide?

The ten o’clock news on Fox 4 DFW did add this this person did NOT have a LTC and charges have not been filed yet. That is all I have read or heard.

… According to police, the man whose gun went off left the store before officers arrived, but he was later identified by authorities.
Police said his gun was concealed and he did not have a license to carry a handgun, and that charges may be filed. They did not release his name.

It won't take many of these to start seeing more signs.

Hmmm, a story about a non LTC holder having a negligent discharge while constitutional carry is being considered.

If they are dedicated enough to the issue to start shooting themselves, I think they have bigger issues to address.

So having a (current) law against carrying a handgun without a license didn't stop someone from illegally carrying a handgun without a license? it only stops those who would follow the law and leaves them either unarmed or forced to pay the state for carry priviliges? I'm gobsmacked.
