Sonic Free Riders and CHL
So I bought my kids a kinect and Sonic free riders for my kids. I was showing them how to play it. "See buddy what you have to do is jump and spin in a circle at the same time!" So I do it he tries and can't get it, so I show him again, he tries and can't get it (he's four). Finally I stand in front of the kinect and do my biggest jump spin combo and about 4 feet from me I hear Ka-clank! So yeah... watch out for that centrifugal force... and for angry wives when firearms go flying across the room *cough*

So far. Meh. but it could just be the game, you have to stand sideways and bend forward and backwards and at 29 I don't bend as far back as I use to so turning that was it a bit of a problem. but I bought it so I can play Steel battalion when it comes out mwahahaha. and I wanna get Fantastic Animals for the kids too. I haven't tried out the game that comes with the kinect yet it could be awesome I dunno.paulhailes wrote:So how do you like the kinect?

What holster did it fly out of if we may ask.CrimsonSoul wrote:So I bought my kids a kinect and Sonic free riders for my kids. I was showing them how to play it. I have literally turned kid flips on the floor to show holster safety. (at 61 I dont flip very fast) jump too, twist, roll. I have fallen several times, twice pretty hard, before I got my knee replcaed. One of those was on a park hill & rolled about 10 feet down hill after falling. Gun secure never came out. Not a retention holster either.
I still maintain that quality gear will secure a carry gun.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.

I have a minatour holster for that one, it usually retains it extremely well I'm not really sure how it happened because like I said I did do some jump spins with nothing happening, I must have gotten REALLY into the game.

Re: Sonic Free Riders and CHL
on the topic of the Kinect. I have the PS3 move and for my little one (4yrs) it is a little hard to figure out. BUT she picked up the Kinect right away at a friends house. I will say that it is much harder to "game" the kinect system meaning you'll actually be actively moving with it as compared to the Wii or PS3 Move.
Is it possible that during bending, etc clothing or something might have caught on the grip and pulled the pistol out slightly before it being tossed?
