I think that's a big assumption. If JFK were alive today with his 1960 platform, he wouldn't even be allowed to speak at the DNC convention. JFK the Democrat was more conservative than most of today's Republicans.bradfromearth wrote:I saw your signature line and wanted to ask you. Osama - I mean Obama - isn't worthy enough to lick the soles of JFK's shoes.
JFK fought Marxism. Comrade Osama - I mean Obama - is a Marxist. JFK fought terrorism. Comrade Osama - I mean Obama - is a friend to terrorists.

Re: Political Bumper Stickers could make you a target
Meanwhile, back at the ranch...
I have a McCain/Palin sticker on one side of my tailgate and a NObama on the other. Across the center, my tailgate says:
McCain / Palin '08
Because...
Hope is not a strategy
Change is not a destination
Yesterday, while sitting at a red light in the Greenspoint area, a young woman stood up and threw her water bottle at my pickup. The light turned green and I left with the rest of the traffic, assuming that a water bottle wouldn't really do any damage (and it didn't).
What irritates me is that so many Obama supporters practice hypocrisy in this area, using aggressive and intimidating measures against McCain supporters. Methinks the inverse would no be tolerated.

I am not a particular fan of JFK, but I thought this quote was particularly noteworthy. I believe our cause isn't about party lines but about basic ideology which most major parties should embrace.bradfromearth wrote:Liberty wrote:Do you really expect to see an informed Obama supporter?I saw your signature line and wanted to ask you. While Jack Kennedy was a Democrat he was a proven enemy of communism or socialism, I doubt he would have approved of Obama.

Re: Political Bumper Stickers could make you a target
I agree with this thread about making you a target which is why I make it a practice not to put any stickers/decals on my car.. period.. anything that might suggest your political affiliations, gun affiliations or otherwise could possibly make you a target. Just too many strange people out there looking for a reason to key your car or worse as in your wife's situation.

I almost get the feeling that some people on this forum do not like Mr. Obama.
