Wings over Houston Airshow...

Since I work underneath the departure corridor for runway 17 at Ellington Field...
I was inspired to see if anyone on the forum was planning on going to the show this weekend???
I'm sure its a restricted and searchable access to the viewing area nowadays...
The Snowbirds are the featured demonstration team this year...I was watching them a little while ago during their workups, they looked pretty good...Lots of planes in their group...
Not sure if its the entire base that may be restricted to CHL, and if you can just drive on, park in the parking areas, and watch the show from your vehicle...Not sure if they allow that anymore...Who knows...
I had the idea about going tomorrow, backing the new truck facing the show center, and throwing some good lawnchairs in the bed to watch the show from there...Not sure if they'll let you do that...
