Sig P229 in 357 Sig
Thinking of getting a P229 Elite stainless in 357 Sig or perhaps 9 mm? Just wondering if any one has this gun and your impressions on the size and weight for carrying?

Nice gun, I am thinking about it for my next gun. It is 2 1/2 p\lbs of gun, you're gonna want a good belt and holster for that. I do like stainless especially for a carry gun that is going to get a lot of holster wear. but it is heavy
You might reconcider the .357 if it is going to be your EDC Ammo unless you're a reloader. Good range ammo is expencive. For most situations the extra penetration of the .357 would be a detriment more than a benefit.
