Is it just me or has anyone else noticed ammo prices going down a tad bit? I mainly focus on .223 and or 5.56 ammo and I have noticed a decrease roughly around 10ยข per round.

Anyone else seeing this or have I just not been paying attention lately :?:

I checked the usual places I buy online this week and no noticeable decrease. I hope you're seeing the trend downward.

I want to think (hope) now that Trump is going to be the President and the threat of Obummer is about to go away that maybe the prices will drift downward in the future.

I have just seen a small decrease in some brands I typically look at. By small I mean a few cents a round on a case of 1000

and powder availability is becoming realistic, I can now get Trail Boss without buying it in an auction on Gunsameria or the other one.

I have noticed lower prices on 9mm, $10 per box of 50 fmj.
223/5.56 about $7 per box of 20.
Have not priced 22 lr.

I have not noticed it yet. The 100 round boxes of Federal .223 at Walmart were just under $29 a year or so ago, but have been $38 for several months to a year now and haven't gone down any.

Same here. I expected to see sharper declines, TBH. Give it a few months now that demand is likely to drop while everyone pares down their stockpiles instead of buying more. Vendors should start to drop prices as a result.

This may be the first time that I am extremely happy to take a loss on my investments in guns and ammo. Personally, I'm not planning any new ammo purchases for quite a while.

I watched pricing for the last 6 month on a weekly base. I have not noticed a real price drop but low end target ammo seems to be more often in the shelves of the local Academy store and at the online ammo dealers.

:cheers2:

I've noticed .22lr and 9MM has dropped a few cents a round in the last month. I haven't shopped .556 in a while because I stocked up a while back.

I have noticed as well. I saw federal .22lr for 2.50$ for a Box of 50. At that price you can finally grab a handful of boxes like that and go have some fun

Strong dollars, lower import prices. Lower cost of energy, lower prices.
