#1

Post by cmgee67 »

Was in the smokies this week and dropped in smoky mountain knife works the largest knife store in the world which was amazing and I came out with a new poky thing and some 5.11 gear but I went it to buds gun shop which is across the street and wow what a cool place. You can even rent machine guns! I wanted to but my wife wanted to go to the russel stover chocolate store so I was out voted. Next time! If your in the area you owe yourself to go check it out!

I actually didn't know that they have a brick and mortar store. I sure do like their prices!

The Tennessee store is around 25k square ft, 25 lane indoor range, laser training simulator and lot of guns and stuff.

Hickock45 has done some events there and I watched one of them online, looks like a huge place. Can't think of a similar store in dfw

Sevierville and Knoxville are 25 miles apart, in East Tennessee. Nashville is 200 miles away in Middle Tennessee. Hickoc45 lives in Pleasant View about 30 miles from Nashville.

My wife and I have this really cool arraignment. If she wanted to go to the RS store, like yours did, the deal we have is "Great! You know I'll be here, see you when you're all done!"

Smokies are beautiful. I grew up there.

And, (almost) everything west of Knoxville is really just "east Arkansas".
Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
When those fail, aim for center mass.

A couple was Christmas shopping at the mall on Christmas Eve and the mall was packed.
As the wife walked through the mall she was surprised to look up and see her husband was nowhere around. She was quite upset because they had a lot to do.
Because she was so worried, she called him on her mobile phone to ask him where he was.

In a calm voice, the husband said, "Honey, you remember the jewelry store we went into about 5 years ago where you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we could not afford and I told you that I would get it for you one day?"

The wife choked up and started to cry and said, "Yes, I remember that jewelry store."

He said, "Well, I'm in the gun store right next to it."

LOL! East Arkansas!
Driving on I-10 near Tucson we passed a Danny Herman truck and the wife got a funny kinda look on her face...I had 3 real estate listings for "cabins" around Mountain City in my email the next morning.
Not for full time, oh no, just the holidays and maybe a few weeks in August when it's hot here, or when color change starts, rhododendron festival, or Trade Days, and the grands are just down the road in Mars Hill, and her friend will manage it for vacation rentals, and how long has it been since I did anything with French Broads, etc. etc. etc.
