Freedom Munitions

I normally just drive over to Freedom Munitions to buy ammo, but they had a free shipping offer so I ordered some .223 on line. The order was on June 19, 2016 for an in-stock product. My order says "pending". I tried calling them but it goes directly to a FULL mailbox. Anybody else have problems with Freedom On-line?

Can't respond about your post but do have a question for you. Is the ammo good? Ever had any problems?

I have a lot of .308 and 9mm both new and reman, i just bought .223 and 5.56, but have not shot it (both new). I have not had any issues, I've had more trouble with WWB (Winchester white box) in the past and no longer shoot it (9mm)

My orders have always been 1-2 wks before i received it using standard shipping. My last order was May 3 and I received May 10 via UPS.

If you go to your order and view the details you can track the shipment to see where it is.

Ordered on 6.19 as well. The ammo was 'in stock' at the time. First time using this company. I attempted calling for an update and have yet to get a response. I plan calling shortly as they are PST. They haven't charged my card yet.

I just saw your post geek. Thanks for the heads up on how to track through the site. I'll give it a try. :txflag:

I ordered 500 rounds of .45 from them about 2 months ago. Took 3 weeks to ship the order. I shot 200 rounds without issue. I will definitely be buying from them again.

I think they're simply overwhelmed with orders, particularly .223. I ordered 1,000 rounds of reman range ammo on June 22, status is still pending. Sometime after the order, their website was updated to say that, due to demand, expect 5 to 7 business days before orders are processed. Subsequently, that changed to 7 to 10 business days. And now it reads 7 to 10 business days or more. Out of their 21 different offerings of .223, 15 are now out of stock...and one of the in-stock items is a tracer round.

I have every confidence they're moving as fast as they can. I think they just got slammed with orders starting in the latter part of June.

I just received a call back (from 24 hours ago) from a very sweet lady who says they are overwhelmed "and looking at last night's tragedy" plan to get even more busy. My order is still in the warehouse. She is getting hammered hard and appreciated a kind and patient "thatta girl! Thanks for your hard work" response.

The webpage stated backlog immediately after the Orlando shooting and I doubt it has eased up yet. I noticed the pricing has gone up somewhat, though not to criminal levels like other retailers did previously.

I shoot their .45 and 5.56 with no problems and literally 1,000s or rounds. My son had one episode with some 9mm reman, but a single box out of 500. Everyone is entitled to a glitch, he could have had gunk in his striker channel too.

Bear with these folks. They're good people, produce good ammo, and have simply been hit with an unexpectedly high volume of orders. Good for them; we know their profits this quarter will look pretty spectacular.

And it's further convincing proof that the libtards' knee-jerk reaction of trying to politicize any "gun violence" (well...except the massive gang shootings that happen in their hometowns, like Chicago) into an attempt to breakdown the Second Amendment only results in increasing numbers of firearm and ammunition sales. God Bless America.

I'm in no hurry for the case of .223 I ordered from Freedom Munitions; it's for practice and the range. I hope you aren't in rapid need of your orders and can wait, as well.

I have used their ammo in different calibers new and reman. Never any problems and it shoots great. I guess I better put an order in.

As others have noted they may simply be overwhelmed. I have visited the store just a few times. I've ordered online sevearl times with no issues and have had no problems with their ammo.

I've bought from them a bunch of times, all .308, .223, & 9mm, in bulk. Other than being a little slow on delivery, I've been pretty satisfied with the ammo. Their remanufactured 168 grain match .308 shoots sub-MOA in my SCAR 17, and their remanufactured 150 grain Soft points shoot about 1.5 MOA from the same gun. They give similar accuracy in my Gunsite Scout. I can't complain.
