Good post, but it still sounds like the ATF is playing footsie with the criminals in Chicago. They said there was aggressive prosecution in Indiana, but couldn't explain the lack of convictions in Illinois. The Obama DOJ needs to have gangbangers continue to kill each other while hog tying the police, to justify their agenda that guns are the problem and not disenfranchised members of society. There is no glamour in prosecuting a gangbanger for Federal weapons offenses, because that doesn't fit their basis for taking guns away from the law abiding. It gets more air play and protests if they go after a LEO who happens to shoot one of the gangbangers.
