Glock 10rd. Mag. Question

I bought a Glock Mod. 19 shortly before the sunset of the “Assault Weapons Ban. (I know, poor timing.) It came with two 10 rd. mags. This gun is only used for teaching, so it doesn't get much use.
I opened the mags last night to see how it was limited to 10 rds. and I'm not sure how Glock is doing it, unless the two prongs under the follower are doing the trick. They don't look long enough to me, but I don't see anything else.
Any Glock guys convert 10 rounders to full capacity for Mod. 19's?
Regards,
Chas.

Why don't you hold on to the 10-round mags in case you visit California with your Glock for a match or something else. When I travel to California next week to visit my children and grandchildren, I will be using my son's 10-round mags at the range.
Just a wild thought.

On the subject of wild thoughts ...

... brand new Glock 33-rounders that will also fit in the 19, cheap. 8)
These guys' pricing is so good on all of the Glock mags that I'd be more inclined to just buy new ones than fool with even taking the base plate off a 10-rounder.

I got burned with Botach too. Order from them at your own risk.
topglock.com has the extended mags.
Honestly 10rd mags aren't too bad if you can get them cheap. I just picked up some 10rders for my USP45 for half the usual price... and they're perfect for IDPA.

I didn't know so I ask this question on GT.
Of course I got the usual bunch of smart *** answers.
This is the consesus of the legitimate answers.

There is no easy or economical way to do it.
Just buy some new or used mags (either LEO marked or not). Use your 10 rounders for practice mags.
With many manufacturer's the 10 rnd limit is acheived by converting the mags to single stack by putting indentations in the sides of that magazine. These styles cannot be modified to full capacity.

Hmmmm... In my one and only experience with Botac late last year a couple of months after the "sunset", they got me 5 or 6 Glock magazines as advertised - pronto. And in my one and only experience with topglock earlier this year, they fumbled the ball so bad that I cancelled an $800+ order ...
Not sure about the Houston market, but at the last gun show I went to at Dallas Market Hall, the "standard capacity" mags could be found lots of places down around $16 to $17. And they could not hardly give away the 10-rounders.

Botach is a much talked about company over at ar15.com
They may be okay sometimes, but too often they are a nightmare. I ordered 6 mags from them and they canceled the order 6 months later. They were just about impossible to get ahold of(email or phone). Finally I got a call back from a voice message I left. They were no longer carrying the mags I ordered... and never bothered to contact me or cancel the order... until I finally spoke with a rep.
topglocks customer service seems to have gone down recently, but they've always come thru for me.
