It's not a problem on this forum but...
Here is some contact information "Just in case"

"Just in Case" of "WHAT?" you ask.
Just in case you need to argue about firearms.
Sometimes it seems that us gun owners break down into our own little clicks and deride other gun owners.
Shotguners don't like Pistol Shooters.
Rifle shooters don't like Shotguners.
Some shooters don't like hunters.
Some Hunters don't like bow hunters.
Firearm hunters don't like people that hunt pigs with dogs.
Who needs a gun that big?
Who needs a magazine with that many rounds?
The NRA is too namby-pamby.
The NRA is too hard core.
I am sure I could make both lists grow.
We are all part of the gun culture. If you feel the need to argue. Contact one of the folks on the first list. They don't like your guns or you. You can have a really useful argument.

Some guys named Tom like to make lists.
Great thread, Tom!
Just to hitchhike on tomneal, we are also often guilty of preaching to the choir. Today, on this forum, I put the bad mouth on Rep Lee. I relly don't think she frequents this forum for anygun's opinion on her job performance.
We know what the NRA A+ folks will do, and the F- as well. Until the F- know exactly what WE thinnk, I believe things will not change by much.

Sheila Jackson Lee is my congresscritter.
I have called her office several times to explain to her staff that "all gun laws are racist." After the civil war they didn't want black folks to have guns so they passed laws to make it difficult. Of course they didn't enforce those laws on white folks. I'll stop now because you know the rest.
I have been thinking about this for a long time. I got off my backside and wrote it down because Orange Gun Club just went through some difficulties. It sound like another case of one group of firearms enthusiasts arguing with another. Last Friday someone that is ok with guns but didn't like hunters, got away before I could ask "Who do you get to kill your food?"
I just wanted to remind everyone that it is us against them. You need to remember who is "them".

This forum definitely is much more civil and supportive of each other than many others. I'm always amazed at how many insults you can draw on GlockTalk no matter what you say. I'm thankful we don't have that here.

You got that right...
I could throw out some insults, but I figure that might not be too healthy...Some of you know where I live...
Besides, I love you guys, ya'll are the best...And you'd know I was full of it anyway, if I did... 8)

Great thread, Tom. This is the very reason that I like this forum so much. Sure there is disagreement, but it remains fairly civil. Gun owners are thier own worst enemies. Heck I like all guns. If it goes bang, I want it. :D
And Stevie, your only half full of it.

I agree, while we may have some differences in opinions and see things from different sides, it is very civil.
I have never understood those guys who hunt, but are anti-gun. I hunted with a guy a couple years ago who said he supported gun laws because "they" would never take away his duck gun, but they would get some of the "bad" guns off the street. He could not understand why someone may need an AR.
I don't care why someone wants a gun, or what they can use it for. Makes no difference to me. I may not want a bench rifle or need one, but I'm all for a guy being able to get one.

My youngest, a staunch conservative, recently made a comment that he didn't see an issue with the recent spat of anti 50 cal laws, and did not understand what the furor was over, as he packed his 15 shot semi on his hip.
