Finally figured out the whole "post a pic" thing, figured I'd show off what keeps me and mine safe at home. Older Taurus model 65, .357 Mag., 4" barrell, fixed sights, loaded with .38 Spl + P semi-jacketed HP's. DA trigger is smooth as glass, SA trigger is very light. Cheap, simple, and very reliable. Best part is I shoot well with it, and that's what counts. Gotta love those wheelguns!

I kinda regret giving up my last "wheelgun"...

It was a Dan Wesson .357, a lot like what you got there...

Thats a keeper...

It's actually a pretty good time to be buying wheel guns. Everyone wants autos and the dealers tell me they have a tough time selling many of their revolvers, the used ones at least.

I've bought a few more in the last year, including a 4" nickle S&W Mod. 57 .41 Mag. and two 2 1/2" S&W Mod. 19's, one blue and one nickle. I'm going to start shooting a revolver in a few IDPA matches, but only a few and not anytime soon.

Like your Taurus, the fixed-sight revolvers seem to be making a comeback. JLaw, your 65 looks pristine!

Regards,
Chas.
