Brooks Place, a barbeque place in Cypress, is offering a 25% discount for diners who are open-carrying.

A discount on good BBQ just for wearing my sidearm? I might just have to go and see how it feels.
Houston is a stretch from North Texas, but might be worth it.

A clarification: the 25% discount at Brooks' Place was for January 1 only. I believe Trent is still offering a 10% discount, and he may continue to do so; don't know. Next time I'm there, I'll ask him.

I don't know if a discount applies, but you don't have to travel to Houston for a gun-friendly BBQ place. Red Barn in Colleyville had this sign on their front door last time I was there. Good BBQ too!

Heck, I'll go anyway. I'm always up to try a new BBQ joint, and if he's willing to make such an offer, discount or no discount (ongoing) I'll back him in it.

I jumped on the Jan 1 25% offer, and will vouch for the BBQ :-)
