I've used them without major problems for a couple years now. Of course, there were occasional problems, but I also experienced those with other brands. I think there was a problem with a batch or two last year and IIRC it had to do with being loaded a little too hot at the factory. Maybe?

I've used it in rifles and handguns.

The two handguns I've used them in are a Colt 1911-22 and an old Ruger Mark II.

Maybe it's just me, but I've had horrible luck with Winchester M22. I took some with me to the range and was sharing with a couple buddies and their kids and it wouldn't feed in anything.

Marlin 795
Ruger 10/22
Ruger Charger
Sig Mosquito

I had 1,000 rounds, two 500 round boxes. I stuck what was left back in the bag and broke out a 525 box of Remington Golden Bullets. No issues in any of the guns.

I traded the M22 for an NC Star scope and felt good about the deal.

YMMV

I've only had trouble with .22LR not feeding properly when it wasn't plated (bare lead)

They work well in a Ruger SR22 and a 10/22. I have shot up three or four bricks of it, no memorable issues, just the usual 22lr problems. I stood in lines at the Academy and bought half a dozen bricks around the time of the recall, checked the numbers, they were all good to go.
