Howdy fellas,
I'm getting into reloading and want a good long lasting tumbler that will not break the bank.
I also want something that will tumble at least 200 .308 cases.

Any thoughts?
I want to shoot a lot and pay less to do it!

Reloading isn't your answer you will shoot a lot and pay about the same to do it. Get a pellet gun if shooting a lot at a lower price is your goal.

I have gotten good service out of the Frankfort Arsenal tumblers. I am presently using a Smart Reloader tumbler that does a good job.

Good advice! FWIW, I really enjoy my various .22 LR long and short guns for extended range time.

I have a Lyman Pro 1200 and a RCBS tumbler for when I decide to reload a few.

I've been using a cheap cabelas tumbler. No complaints after 4 years of light use.

There are a lot of folks that reload.
If there is no gain in cost of shoting ( WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MATCH GRADE RELOADERS)
Then why do people do it?? You really do not gain in accuracy in pistol ammo as I understand it.

Umm, because they enjoy it and they can...?

I've used various "small" tumblers over the years and never got more than about 2 years service before something broke. During those years, it ran a lot but I can't give even a reasonable estimate how many hours they typically had on them before failure.

I finally broke down and bought the large Dillon tumbler and it has lasted much longer. Although I don't shoot/reload as much as I once did (little time), the Dillon has many more hours on it than any of its predecessors and it's working fine. It's capacity is also great.

For me, it's a three stage therapy session:
1. Make bullets
2. Shoot Bullets
3. Goto Step 1
