Hope I don't get in trouble for this, but some of us here in Houston are trying to start a little group/forum and if your live in Houston and are interested please go to houstongunandrange.com and sign up. We will try to have meets and shooting outings as well as discuss ranges and guns here in Houston! Thanks in advance and sorry if this is against the rules. ( wasn't quite sure or not )

Can always PM Charles and ask if it is OK, before posting, rather than beg for forgiveness afterwards, if you are wrong.

Also, if you and "some of us on here" are doing something for Houston, may it be easier, if those people are already on this forum, to ask Charles if there can be a "Houston" section on this forum, much like there is a "ladies only" or "Other"

I am in Houston, and I am apt to try to do more, but honestly I spend enough time on this forum, with these good people who have graciously taught me so much and whom I respect very much, I don't have the time to read another forum.
Another reason and probably more importantly, I think this forum runs great, with the rules in place and the moderators that do a great job, and after seeing other forums in the past, with the bickering, moaning, groaning (and insert any 4 letter word you want), I would be afraid another forum would just end up that way too. (I hope I am wrong about this)

What does that website do differently or better than Texas CHL forum or houstongunforum.com?
